Thank you for taking the time to learn about my platform. I’d also like to share a bit about myself.

My family moved here when I was young, and I’ve lived in Elmwood-East Kildonan for most of my life. I grew up here, from elementary at John de Graff, to junior high at Valley Gardens, and high school at Miles Macdonell Collegiate. After graduating from the University of Winnipeg, I spent time in River Heights and Transcona with friends, and moved back about three years ago. I’m happy to be in my childhood neighbourhood again, living with my partner Casey and our cat Nala.

I’ve worked a variety of jobs over the years: customer service, retail, accounting and administrative support, and even a brief stint as an archaeologist. I’ve also worked for the City of Winnipeg in seasonal and term roles with Parks, Community Services, and Assessment & Taxation. After earning an advanced certificate in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), I joined the Planning, Property & Development department, where I work today.

I understand how City departments work together (and sometimes don’t). I’m familiar with our by‑laws and how they’re created and amended. I’m well‑versed in the structure and rules of committees and Council. I’m ready to hit the ground running and collaborate with the team at City Hall as your councillor.

This is my home. I love this neighbourhood and I would be proud to represent it at City Hall.
